Karim Benzema has penned a new contract with Real Madrid until June 2023, club statement announces.
The deal will keep the striker at Real Madrid till the summer of 2023 with a mind blowing release clause of €1BN included in the deal.
The new deal will come as a huge boost for the team as Thibaut Courtois also extended his contract last week as they bid to win back the laliga title.
Benzema has been at the club since 2009 and the 33-year-old has been in incredible form since Cristiano Ronaldo left the club in 2018, scoring 20+ goals in each of the following three La Liga seasons and also registering 24 assists.
Last weekend in the new laliga season he bagged a brace to open his account for the 2021/22 season.
