The UEFA SUPER CUP (which is an annual fixture contested by the reigning champions of the two main European club competitions) 2021 will be contested between Chelsea and Villareal at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Russian referee Sergei Karasev will take charge of the contest and be assisted by compatriots Igor Demeshko and Maksim Gavrilin, while Alexey Kulbakov (Belarus) will be fourth official.

Chelsea won the Champions League with a 1-0 victory over Manchester City in the final, after a winner goal by Kai Havertz in the first half while Villarreal beat Manchester United in the final of the Europa League, winning 11-10 in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw.

Chelsea will be keen to continue their positive pre-season, after going unbeaten in their four matches (W3, D1) ahead of their match tonight
