Brazil successfully defended their Olympic title at Tokyo after beating Spain 2-1 in extra time with former Barcelona striker Malcom, being the hero from the bench when he struck home the winner in the 108th minute.
In what was an entertaining game between both sides, the controversial moment came when the referee awarded a penalty to Brazil after consulting the VAR only for Everton star Richarlison to bundle it over. Then the breakthrough goal came from Matheus Cunha few minutes before halftime and Spain responded back in spectacular fashion through Mikel Oyazarbal on the hour mark.
Brazil took control after conceding the goal but had to wait patiently till extra time to secure the winner which came from the Zenit St Petersburg striker after he was called off the bench in search of a winning goal and he did just that.
For all the pressure from the Spaniard in search of a equalizer, Brazil had to defend well and win the Olympic title again (back to back)
