Crystal Palace, Brentford and Watford are reportedly tracking Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo.
The 25-year-old has just 18 months left on his contract at the Ibrox club and he’s attracting major interest from the English Premier League, according to the Daily Mail.
Aribo arrived in Glasgow from Charlton Athletic in the summer of 2019 and he flourished under the tutelage of former boss Steven Gerrard.
He’s made 116 appearances for Rangers, scoring 21 goals and providing 18 assists. His versatility is one of his major strengths and he can play in a variety of midfield or attacking roles.
But his contract situation, with his deal expiring in 2023, has left them vulnerable and given hope to his admirers that they may be able to prise him away in either the January window or next summer.
Rangers will try and convince Aribo to extend his contract in Glasgow given his importance to their plans under new manager van Bronckhorst.
Aribo has also been one of Rangers’ best players this season and he’s been excellent in Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s two games in charge.
The Nigerian international has scored four goals this campaign as the Light Blues aim to retain their Scottish Premiership title.
